STUNNING VIEWS. This two bedroom semi detached house, requiring updating, but affords a large rear garden with superb far reaching views across the adjoining countryside to the Mendip Hills in the distance.

Accommodation

On entering the entrance hall, stairs rise to the first floor landing, with doors opening into the kitchen and on the left, into the lounge/dining room. Here there is a fireplace on the left, a built cupboard, recess and windows to the front and rear, with the rear view taking in the stunning far reaching views. The kitchen is in its basic form, and ready to be redeveloped with a window to the rear and a door into the side passageway leading into the utility room. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, with the large of the two having a window at the front, but bedroom two again, featuring wonderful far reaching views out across the adjoining fields and the levels beyond, also has a built in wardrobe. Finally, the bathroom comprises a panelled bath, wash hand basin and a WC.

Outside

At the front, the garden is laid to lawn with mature shrubs and a path leading to the front door. There is also off road parking here for one vehicle with a side door into the passageway. The rear garden has steps down from the side passageway. This enjoys the lovely views across levels to the Mendip Hills. The garden in the main, is laid to lawn with mature shrub and vegetable beds down to mature hedgerow at the foot.

Location

The property is situated above the town approximately half a mile from the town centre with its good range of shops, restaurants, cafes, health centres, supermarkets, churches and public houses. The historic town of Glastonbury is renowned for its Tor and Abbey Ruins and is 6 miles from the Cathedral City of Wells. Street is 2.5 miles and offers more comprehensive facilities including Strode Theatre, both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the complex of shopping outlets in Clarks Village. Access to the M5 can be gained at Dunball (Junction 23) some 14.5 miles. Bristol, Bath, Taunton and Yeovil are all within commuting distance.

Directions

From the town centre proceed up the High Street passing St John's Church on the left. At the top of the hill bear left and after approximately 200 metres turn right into Leg of Mutton Road. Follow the road up the hill and on reaching the 'T' junction turn left into Selwood Road where the property will be found along on the left hand side.
