A charming and spacious five-bedroom detached property, extended and beautifully presented throughout by our clients creating a fabulous home with double garage, outbuilding, ample parking and desirable south facing garden.

The home is principally accessed from the rear elevation via a double-glazed door that opens into the rear hall. From here, leading off is a useful shower room and laundry room. A glazed door opens to the hub of the home, a light and spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living space with bi-fold doors leading out to a large patio terrace, a perfect entertaining space with both attractive and practical Travertine floor tiles. The kitchen provides ample base, wall, drawer and larder units, a belfast sink and stunning solid granite worktop surfaces and central island. A generous cooking area for any keen cook with space for a Rangemaster cooker, integrated tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. A door takes you into a central hallway laid with a solid oak floor, a staircase rises to the first floor, two doors open into the two reception rooms and at the end, the front door. The sitting room is light and characterful with large multi-fuel stove having solid oak beam over and stone hearth. In the formal dining room, solid oak flooring continues and there is ample space for table, chairs and farmhouse dresser, additional storage can be found in a under stair cupboard. This would also make a great playroom. On the first floor a large landing leads off to a contemporary white suite family bathroom and five well proportioned bedrooms including a superb light and spacious master suite, easily accommodating a king-size bed, freestanding bedroom furniture and benefitting from an ensuite shower room.

A traditional double fronted cottage with low stone wall enclosing the front garden, having been laid to gravel for ease of maintenance and with an attractive wrought iron pedestrian gate and pathway leading up to the front door. At the side of the property, large timber gates open to a generous gravelled driveway where there is also access to the outbuilding, wood store and double garage. The garage has two timber double doors, side door and window and is supplied with power and light. Continue around the side of the property into the enclosed and private south facing garden. Mainly laid to lawn with established shrub and flowering borders, mature trees, vegetable patch and large raised patio terrace extending from the side elevation giving access into the open plan kitchen via the trifold doors. A working well is also a lovely feature of the garden.
