Accommodation

What started out many years ago as a conventional bungalow, has in recent years developed into a unique and highly individual home. The accommodation is arranged over three levels, with all the principal rooms benefitting from views over the beautifully landscaped garden and countryside beyond. On entering the large vestibule a door opens into the spacious entrance hall, featuring exposed floorboards and a spiral staircase to the attic room. A succession of doorways and arched openings lead off to the further accommodation. Here you will find a useful utility with terracotta floor tiles, space and plumbing for a washing machine, as well as further appliances, adjacent to this is a cloakroom. A bedroom/study at the front provides a built-in cupboard. The bathroom is a generous size and is well-appointed with a free-standing claw foot bath, large rectangular shower enclosure, close coupled WC, bidet and pedestal sink. There is also a built-in cupboard and a window affording a view of the garden. A further bedroom, features sliding doors opening onto a decked sun terrace, has built-in wardrobes with overhead cupboards and a door to the en-suite, which provides a shower enclosure, pedestal sink and WC. As you enter into the kitchen, you get a feel of the open space and how the accommodation flows, making all the rooms very 'connected'. The kitchen is fitted with a range of modern units, and apart from the usual expected items includes a brushed steel six burner gas Range cooker and a large American fridge/freezer. Open plan to a lovely fully glazed dining room with double doors opening to the side and pretty courtyard providing access via some steps to the front. Central to the room is a wide wooden turning staircase to the lower floor and upper floor. On the lower floor there is a large living room with exposed floorboards, full length glazed windows, feature electric fire and wide sliding patio doors onto the sun deck where you appreciate the garden and tranquility. Continuing to the upper floor is an additional sitting room again benefitting from the stunning views of the garden and beyond. Off here is a bedroom with further sliding patio doors and wall to wall built-in wardrobes and cupboards. Returning to the entrance hall and the spiral staircase. This leads to a useable attic providing space for a bedroom/sitting room with doors opening onto a balcony, built-in cupboard and small eaves storage. A door opens to an en-suite shower room with shower enclosure, vanity unit including a concealed cistern and wash hand basin.
