Accommodation

A wonderful bright and airy reception lobby opens into a formal dining hall with high vaulted ceiling and from here access is given to all ground floor rooms. Fine oak staircases also ascend to the first floor bedroom suites from each end of the room. The entire property boasts a wealth of character throughout with exposed stone feature walls, beams and oak finishes giving a real feel of quality. The kitchen/family room is a particular focal point of the property, affording ample space for a family table and having doors opening onto the rear south facing patio, making for a superb entertaining space. The kitchen area is light and spacious with inset ceiling spotlights and has been fitted with a bespoke range of units, including peninsula unit, all with granite work surfaces over and incorporating fitted appliances. The sitting room is spacious with its central feature being an attractive brick fireplace with inset wood burning stove.

Accommodation Continued

The remainder of the ground floor accommodation consists of a large additional reception room, ideal as a sixth double bedroom or home study, as well as utility/laundry room with large walk in cupboard, rear lobby and family shower room. Three ground floor bedrooms can all accommodate king size beds and have the benefit of contemporary white en-suite bathrooms adjoining. The first floor master and guest bedrooms are also of generous size, located at opposite ends of the barn with staircases ascending to them. These rooms feature their own landings and large en-suite bathrooms.

Outside

To the front of the barn a private gated driveway leads into a large parking area and around to the double car port and garage. There are pretty gardens to the front with a variety of plants and shrubs that are enclosed by low natural stone retaining walls. Predominantly the gardens lie to the side and the rear and are largely laid to lawn. There is a spacious patio/seating area adjoining the doors to the kitchen and a separate raised seating area to the rear of the gardens for summer dining. The gardens are fully enclosed and enjoy good privacy throughout.
