Sheltered by a storm porch the main entrance door brings you into an attractive reception hall, where stairs ascend to the first floor, doors open to the ground floor accommodation and a newly laid oak engineered floor continues into the study. The sitting room is generously proportioned and features a Chesneys wood burning stove with attractive Bathstone surround and mantle with slate hearth. The kitchen/dining room, separate utility room and cloakroom have been recently modernised to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings including underfloor heating beneath an attractively tiled floor in the kitchen/dining room and provide comfortable entertaining space. The kitchen is fitted with a stunning range of base, wall and deep drawer units, contrasting Minerva acrylic work tops with an inset ceramic sink and large corner pantry cupboard. Built in Neff appliances include induction hob, eye-level oven and a further combination oven/microwave, warming drawer, larder fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher. The dining area provides space for a good size table with French doors onto the terrace and garden. The utility room mirrors the kitchen design with Minerva acrylic worktops, an inset ceramic sink, a wine cooler and space for a washing machine and tumble dryer. Doors lead to a cloakroom, integral garage and back door to the rear garden.
To the first floor a spacious landing with airing cupboard and access to the roof space lead off to four excellent sized bedrooms. Three of which are considered large double rooms, two of which provide beautifully appointed en-suite facilities. Bedroom two also enjoys the benefit of built-in wardrobes and all rooms can comfortably accommodate a wide range of freestanding furniture. The family bathroom is fitted with a modern suite with a panelled bath and power shower over. All bedrooms and front facing windows are advantageously fitted with white plantation shutters.
Outside, the property is as meticulously maintained and attractively presented as inside. Enclosed by mature hedging and fences at the front of the property where a tarmac driveway provides ample parking and leads up to the integral garage, fitted with an electric roller door, power, light and also houses the gas fired boiler installed in 2018. A door opens into a substantial lean-to at the side of the house providing a useful wood/bike store and provides a secure entry through into the rear garden. The rear garden enjoys a desirable south facing aspect and is fully enclosed with a large patio/terrace extending the full width of the rear elevation. The rest is laid to lawn with a path leading up to a raised deck, an ideal spot to catch the last light of the day. A useful storage shed can be found to the other side of the house.
